Sometimes surprising things happen when you are just doing maintenance. I was out lining up the main and tracking telescopes. I used the moon as a start to the line-up process. Much to my surprise I started taking rather interesting pictures of the moon. So I just banged away and then later compiled the picture below. As it was unplanned the mosaic was incomplete. What interested me about this image is it was shot in with an OIII filter. Annotated a few of the features just for fun.
